It was sunny and warm in the Bay Area just one week from Christmas! We couldn't resist and decided to take the Dragon out for a cruise around the bay. Unfortunately there was absolutely no wind so we fired up the iron sail for some fun on the bay!We motored from South Beach Harbor Marina North along the coast to the Golden Gate Bridge. We passed the Ferry Building, Coit Tower, Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and the Marina district! Since the weather was so nice and the traffic light, we decided to motor to the ocean side of the Bridge; a big deal for us as it was our first time on that side of the bridge!Next, we pointed the Dragon back in to the bay toward Angel Island. We wanted to dock and have lunch at the Cafe but it was closed for the season :(. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade which is exactly what we did! We found some cheese and crackers and had a nice light snack on a picnic table on the Island. Finally, we left the Island and headed back home. We passed the usual cargo ships and docked at our home slip.As a side note, this is my first video created using Adobe Premiere so please bare with me as I learn. Also, we didn't get much good footage from this trip since it was spur-of-the-moment.
